Lambda Theta Phi is a proud member of the IFC; however we do not rush. We go through a different process more selective in order to maintain the tightest brotherhood on campus. Now with that said....

Founded in 1975 at Kean University in Union, New Jersey, Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc. is the first and largest nationally recognized Greek-letter organization founded as a Latin Fraternity. The membership of Lambda Theta Phi is open to all college men who support its values of scholarship, respect for all culture, community service, and the advancement and fair treatment of Latinos. Lambda Theta Phi was the first Latin Fraternity to be recognized by the North-American Inter-Fraternity Conference (NIC), is a member of NALFO, and has over 100 Chapters and Colonies in: Arizona, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. The Brothers of the Alpha Alpha Chapter are doing all that they can in order to assist the Haitian Relief. We are making sure that every cent donated will be given to those in Haiti that need our help. Please Join the cause by donating as well.

The Alpha Alpha Chapter of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc. achieved a great milestone during the Fall 2009 semester. Highest GPA amongst ALL Fraternities at the University of Central Florida.

Academics is what we are here for. We are not the BEST because we are the FIRST, We are the FIRST because we are the BEST!

Sunday, November 15:

"Volley Forge" - First Annual Volleyball Tournament
Co-sponsored event with Mu Sigma Upsilon Multicultural Sorority, Inc.

A friendly game of volleyball between Fraternities and Sororities where a fraternity will be paired with a sorority. Alumni and Undergraduate members will be able to participate in this event. This event will have a concession stand as well, proceeds will go to our philanthropy, United Cerebral Palsy of Orlando.

Monday, November 16:

"Educational with YaYa"

This interactive forum is with the Youth and Young Adult Network of the National Farm Worker Ministry about immigration reform and the abuses agricultural workers face as a result of being undocumented. We will be providing a safe environment for students to express their opinions about this topic, and become further educated about it.

"13th Continental Congress" - Chapter Brotherhood Dinner

Closed event for all Alumni and Undergraduate Brothers of the Alpha Alpha Chapter as we commemorate 13 successful years of being on UCF campus.

Wednesday, November 18:

First Annual IFC Yard Show and Date Auction

IFC Yardshow: An opportunity for all Greeks to display their best talents amongst one another while entertaining the UCF community. Yard Shows are traditionally for the minority Greeks; however, we are having the FIRST Yard Show that will incorporate the Interfraternity Council and the Panhellenic Council. This event will be held in the front of the union.

Front of the Student Union, 12:00PM - 1:30PM

Date Auction: Traditionally one of our chapters BIGGEST and most EXCITING Philanthropic Fundraisers of the year. Brothers of Lambda Theta Phi along with members of other Greek and Non-Greek organizations will auction themselves to go on a date with member of the UCF community. Proceeds of the event will go to United Cerebral Palsy. **Link Loot points will also be available.

Thursday, November 19:

"Chivalrous Dinner"

This dinner is a trademark, annual event thrown by the Alpha Alpha Chapter where we give back to the ladies of the UCF community. We uphold our reputations as chivalrous gentlemen by treating two lovely ladies from each sorority on campus to dinner courtesy of your favorite Men in Brown.

*This event is held on an Invite-Only Basis.

Saturday, November 21:

"Family Day Tailgate"
Co-sponsored event with Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc.

Come gear up for our game against Tulane as this tailgate will be one to remember. Everyone is welcome to attend.

"Battle of Colonial Hill" - Lambda Theta Phi Adopt-a-Road Cleanup Community Service

Brothers will be out cleaning up their road out on Colonial Drive from Alafaya to Rouse. We do so various times during a semester, picking up trash and other litter that may be found on the road.

"Battle of the Brown Coats" - Annual Flag-Football Game with Alumni Brothers

Every year, this traditional football game is held between the Undergraduate brothers & Alumni brothers. This match-up is one you don't want to miss as it gets intense out on the gridiron. Following the event will be a barbecue with guests.

Lambda Informational

Interested in joining the FIRST Latin fraternity in the Nation? Come out to meet the brothers and learn more about what it takes to be a Lambda. This meeting is meant to show you what the fraternity is about, what it can do for you, and most importantly the impact that you can have not only on the fraternity, but on the community at large. Every male UCF student is welcome to attend this informational.
