As a fraternity, Lambda Theta Phi conducts its intake differently than the usual "IFC Rush Week". The chapter holds intake when it sees fit and is not required to conduct the intake process every semester or year. The chapter does recruit year round, and once there is enough interest and participation, the chapter may choose to start an "Interest Group".

The purpose of the Interest Group will be to provide an atmosphere in which the interested men may get to know each other, as well as to allow the interested members to associate with the brothers in the chapter.

The induction process is multifaceted but includes the education of both cultural and fraternal history. Like most organizations many portions of our induction process are kept secret and the only ones who have true knowledge of them are the brothers of Lambda Theta Phi. Our induction process is geared towards education and empowerment.
