Winning an award in AZNM Sector is not just a modest achievement. All award winners are vetted for greatness by the AZNM Executive Board, and chosen as the reigning standard of excellence within the sector. Award winners are then considered for nomination for national fraternity and NALFO awards.

Service Event of the Year
The Service Event of the Year award recognizes an AZNM chapter for superior planning, creativity and execution of a meaningful service event in keeping with the mission of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity Inc., and setting a high standard of excellence for chapters in Arizona and New Mexico.
Collaborative Event of the Year
The Collaborative Event of the Year award recognizes an AZNM chapter for superior planning, creativity and execution of a meaningful collaborative event in keeping with the mission of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity Inc., and setting a high standard of excellence for chapters in Arizona and New Mexico.
Academic Brother of the Year
The Academic Brother of the Year award recognizes a brother for superior performance and/or improvement in the academic realm, and for serving as an academic role model for brothers in Arizona and New Mexico.
Dr. Cayetano Socarrás Legacy Award
A guiding light and expert counsel to the Fraternity in its early years, Fraternal Father Dr. Cayetano Socarrás (1922-1994) was a gentleman, a scholar and a perfect example of what a Lambda Man should strive to be. This award is the highest honor bestowed upon a brother from Arizona | New Mexico Sector 1.
